Tania Escobar, O.D.

Dr. Escobar was born in El Salvador but grew up in Arlington, TX. For her optometric training she attended the University Houston College of Optometry where she graduated in May, 2022. Immediately after graduating, she moved to Michigan to complete a post- graduate optometric residency. The year-long residency provided her insight and experience in performing comprehensive eye exams, and managing ocular disease for patients of all ages.

Wanting to be closer to home, Dr. Escobar moved back to Texas and joined Cleburne Eye Clinic in August, 2023. Dr. Escobar's interests span from primary care of adults and children to management of eye disease such as amblyopia, diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular/retinal degenerations, and dry eye. She is passionate about patient education, and delivering evidence-informed care.

Dr. Escobar is bilingual - speaking both English and Spanish. Outside of the clinic, she loves spending time with friends, and family catching up on TV series, and exploring new restaurants.
